Regarding Change

There was a time when I called myself a victim, but that’s not true. I survived a violent crime and that makes me a survivor!

I’ve heard enough about change. Well, guess what?

I’m not killing people.

I’m not protesting the flag; I’m not taking a knee when our National Anthem is played; and I’m not disrespecting the military.

I’m not writing racists remarks about ethnic groups.

I obey the laws, pay my bills on time, pay my taxes, worked until it was time to retire, and I have a deep and unfailing respect for law enforcement and the military.

I don’t bother anyone for anything.

I’ve spent many hours volunteering for different organizations, countless hours praying with others, and donated many a dollar to help worthy causes.

So, if there is any changing that needs to be done then maybe the people who think they are special need to understand that WE ALL ARE SPECIAL and WE ALL MATTER.

Stop blaming others for your lot in life.

Stop expecting the government to take care of you from the day you are born until the day you die.

Don’t like your life? Change it but don’t ask me to do it for you.

My attitude is just fine. Is yours?
