With the surprise announcement that Justice Stephen Breyer was retiring, I found it even more surprising when Joe Biden (the stupid son of a bitch) announced that he was going to nominate a black woman.
I’m not an expert on the Civil Rights Act of 1964, but it does state this:
"The Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin. ... The Act prohibited discrimination in public accommodations and federally funded programs. It also strengthened the enforcement of voting rights and the desegregation of schools."
Someone who knows the Constitution went on to say this:
"George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley noted Wednesday that President Joe Biden’s criteria for a new Supreme Court justice — that she be black and female — are “unconstitutional” in other contexts, according to the Court itself."
And this in response to Jen Psaki, the most condescending press secretary ever:
Enough said, for now. ~CE
