♦Donna Deegan vetoed Bill 2025-0138 passed by the City Council. This bill stops funding for illegals aliens in Jacksonville.
♦Mayor’s Office of General Council notified the sheriff to not enforce state or local immigration law.
♦She awarded a sole source contract to a lobbying firm which fundraised for her campaign. There are literally dozens of similarly qualified lobbying firms.
♦She has put the city in a legal battle that could cost the taxpayers millions because of her gun registry policy that is illegal in Florida.
♦She refused to sign the another Immigration bill passed by the City Council.
♦She is resisting financial transparency aka Duval DOGE.
♦Otto Aviation announced a multi-million dollar contract with Cecil Field and Deegan wasn’t even mentioned in the announcement.
♦She installed a hologram of herself at the airport without city council approval. Cost to taxpayers: $75,000.
♦She nominated a woman to the Library board who promotes grooming of children.
♦She attends and speaks at political events held at local churches. These churches should lose their tax-exempt status.
♦While in London, she went on a radio show and said that President Trump would set up concentration camps for illegals if he was elected President.
♦She never issue an official statement from her Mayor Deegan account about the assassination attempts on President Trump’s life. She made a comment on her personal account, but she has blocked constituents from reading or commenting on that account.
♦She compared chemo treatments for cancer to getting an abortion.
♦She put the pride flag on top of city hall.
♦She tore down a historic monument in the dead of night without city council approval.
♦She keeps pumping millions into parks in high crime areas while destroying southern history.
♦She attended BLM protests.
♦She cheated on her second husband with her third husband.
♦She has a cousin in prison for possession of child porn.
♦She was the grand marshal in a gay pride parade.
♦She hands out proclamations like candy.
♦She shows up at events for photo opportunities.
♦She travels to London to attend Jaguars game at the taxpayers’ expense.
♦She fleeced the taxpayers for a billion dollar plus new stadium without giving them a chance to vote.
♦She fleeced the taxpayers again for $15.45 million for the developers to rebuild the RISE Doro that burned down in January 2024 just days before opening.
♦Cause of fire: Still unknown!
♦Downtown Jacksonville offers little to nothing because of the crime.
♦People work downtown, but they don’t want to live there.
♦The Emerald Trail is being built for walking through high crime neighborhoods.
♦Schools have been renamed because they offended certain people while other schools are being closed.
♦Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the contiguous United States as of 2020, but Deegan is focused on just a few areas of the city.
♦She strongly supported Andrew Gillum for governor. Gillum was found passed out inside a South Beach hotel room with a reputed male escort and suspected methamphetamine.
