Just Another Day (Revised)

First thing this morning, the

Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade!

As we prepare to leave the month of June and say hello to July, it seems like this year is flying by much too fast. Before we know it, Christmas will be here.

Today the Supreme Court will release more decisions. I wonder if the controversial abortion decision will be one of them. If so, I hope the conservative judges and their families have an escape route.

Part of me fears for the outcome while part of me wants them to announce it and get it over with so we can move on with our lives. No doubt there will be riots in the streets and businesses will be destroyed. You know, just like the summer of 2020.

The partisan January 6 committee head another hearing yesterday. I wonder how many more days they plan to take over major networks and independent stations with their one-sided hearings. I’ve not watched one hour of the dog and pony show and I won’t start now.

It’s hot down South and Joe Biden is threatening us with rolling black-outs or brown-outs. I’ve survived hurricanes and tropical storms, so I will survive anything that miserable jackass throws our way.

Well, I guess that’s it for today. Have a peaceful weekend and stay safe out there.
