Dear You (October 7, 2018)

My heart is breaking and this will be true until it stops. I will never hear your voice again. I will never see you again. Unanswered questions will remain unanswered, and perhaps that is best. But, I cannot erase nearly 7 years of loving you and being loved by you. No matter what, that will never change.

I have saved every card and letter you sent to me. I have saved every picture of you and me … of us. I have saved everything you ever gave me. I have saved pressed flowers and tickets to special events and Canadian money … and so much more.

I can still see you waiting for me at the airport terminal, and I remember our first sweet kiss. I can still hear your voice in my ear as you took my hand and we started our journey together.

I remember everything. Everything! These are things I will never forget.

You will live in my heart forever, my forever love.

Rest in peace …
