In all honesty, I don’t understand the “woke” people, and quite honestly, I don’t see how they are making things any better.

At my old age, if I wake up each morning then that’s about as “woke” as I’m ever going to get.

As we roll along to Election Day with promises from both political sides about how they are going to make our lives much better, what I’ve come to realize (more than ever before) is that I’m the only person who can make my life better.

I’ve heard false promises my entire adult life and the truth is that they suck.

So, if you want to be “woke” or “progressive” or whatever they are calling it today – because let’s face it definitions change with mood of the moment – then have at it. You do you, and I will do me.

And, there it was – my Twitter comment on Breitbart News!

Did Amy Klobuchar just suggest voting for Democrats will stop hurricanes?

“Sen. Amy Klobuchar bizarrely suggests that voting for Democrats in 2022 will somehow stop hurricanes,” Tea Party Patriots observed as others chimed in:

Sounds like a threat. Vote for us, or the hurricanes will continue…lol

“Hurricanes or democrats, what’s more destructive?” one user inquired.

“Amy Klobuchar is the woman who ate her salad with a comb so don’t be surprised that she thinks Dems can stop hurricanes,” another remarked.

“Wow very weird!” another user exclaimed. “Taking credit for controlling the weather! Wow!!”

“If you vote for democrats, Florida will not get hit by this hurricane,” another mocked as one added, “Vote for me and I’ll change the weather.”

Klobuchar’s remark comes as Florida braces for Hurricane Ian, which is expected to make landfall on the state’s west coast this week.
